Intersection of Southeast Third Street and Southeast Greystone Drive Set to Close Daily Beginning Dec. 10

The intersection of Southeast Third Street and Southeast Greystone Drive is set to close daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning Wednesday, December 10, and lasting until December 24. The detour route includes Southeast Todd George Parkway, Northeast Langsford Road, Southeast Keystone Drive, and Southeast Flagstone Drive.

Southeast Third Street will be closed to through traffic between Southeast Todd George Parkway and Southeast Flagstone Drive. Southeast Greystone Drive will be closed to through traffic between Southeast Todd George Parkway and Northeast Langsford Road.

The closure is necessary for stormwater improvements associated with the EFLB Area 3 and 4 Stormwater project, and work includes the installation of new stormwater pipe, water main relocations, and pavement restoration. A section of Northeast Neawanna Drive west of Northeast Amanda Lane closed on Tuesday, May 28, for approximately three weeks for stormwater repairs. This is the cul-de-sac near Deer Valley Park. The stormwater crew will be replacing two rusted corrugated metal storm lines under Neawanna Drive. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.
