Various Lane Closures Expected on Northeast Douglas Street Through End of March

Northeast Douglas Street between Northeast Chipman Road and Southeast Second Street will have various lane closures through the end of March for tree work. Work may start as early as this week, and is expected to take place a block at a time. Some detours may be needed depending on conditions. The work is in preparation for the Northeast Douglas Street Improvements project, which is expected to begin this summer 2026.

The City’s crews are pre-treating streets with salt today, Monday, February 10, ahead of winter weather forecast for this week. Crews started treating streets in residential areas, and then will move to secondary and primary streets.
