Public Invited to Meeting for Pryor Road Phase 2 Improvements from Hook Road to M-150 Highway

The City of Lee’s Summit is hosting a public meeting to discuss the proposed design and infrastructure improvements to the Pryor Road corridor from Hook Road to M-150 Highway from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, at Summit Lakes Middle School, 3500 SW Windemere Dr. Lee's Summit, Mo. 64082.

This meeting will be attended by City staff and representatives from the project’s engineering design consultant Affinis. Project exhibits will be available for public inspection at the meeting and online at cityofLS.net/pryorphase2. Comments will also be accepted online from Sept. 10 - 24, and will be made a part of the public meeting record for the project. The meeting is an open house-style format and there will be no formal presentation, allowing those interested in the project to come and go as schedules allow. This public meeting is not intended for any questions or concerns related to current construction along Pryor Road between Longview Road and Hook Road.

Proposed Pryor Road Phase 2 project improvements include an additional third lane and turn lanes, along with sidewalk, shared-use path, curb, and street lighting from Hook Road to M-150 Highway. This project was approved by voters with the passage of the April 2017 capital improvement sales tax.
