SE Second Street Closure Extended

SE Second Street Closure Extended

The closure of SE Second Street has been extended to SE Green Street. The section of SE 2nd Street from SE Green to SE Eastridge streets is now expected to remain closed through mid-May. Intermittent closures of SE Eastridge Street at SE Second Street are still expected while sanitary sewer work takes place. These closures are necessary for work associated with the Downtown Market Plaza project.

City Hall Plaza will also be closed beginning April 1, and will remain closed through the duration of the project.

All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.

City Crews Set to Continue Plowing and Treating Streets Tonight and Overnight into Friday, Feb. 18

The City’s crews have been plowing and treating streets today, Thursday, Feb. 17, and will continue tonight and overnight into Friday, Feb. 18. Crews are nearly complete with primary streets, and will be moving into secondary streets soon.
