Full Closure of Section of NE Rice Road on Wed., Feb. 14

Full Closure of Section of NE Rice Road on Wed., Feb. 14

As an update to the stormwater work along NE Rice Road, there will be a full closure of both the northbound and southbound sections of NE Rice Road between 301 NE Rice Rd and 401 NE Rice Rd from approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wed., Feb. 14. Detour routes remain NE Langsford Road, M291 Hwy, and NE Columbus Street.

Crews plowed and treated primary streets today, and crews will continue working to complete secondary streets and then will move into residential streets. It can take crews 24-48 hours to plow and treat all streets after accumulating snow has ended.

Section of Northeast Rice Road Set to Close Monday, Nov. 17

A section of Northeast Rice Road between Northeast Colbern Road and Northeast Mulberry Avenue is set to close on Monday, November 17, for approximately three weeks. The hard closure will be between 1707 and 1725 Northeast Rice Road.  The detour route includes Northeast Mulberry Avenue, Northeast Independence Avenue, and Northeast Colbern Road. The closure is necessary for water main rehabilitation work.
