Section of Southeast Browning Street Set to Close Monday, Jan. 19

A section of Southeast Browning Street between Southeast Eighth Street and Southeast Blue Parkway is set to close on Monday, Jan. 19, for approximately two weeks. The hard closure is between Southeast Ninth Street and Southeast Blue Parkway. The detour route includes Southeast Douglas Street, Southeast Seventh Street, Southeast Green Street, and Southeast Eighth Street.

The work is necessary for water line work as part of the Route 291 north and U.S. 50 Interchange project.

All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.
