City Crews Continue Plowing and Treating Residential Streets

The City’s crews will continue plowing and treating residential streets tonight and overnight into tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 27. Residential routes were more than halfway complete at 7 p.m. tonight, and crews expect all streets to be completed by Tuesday afternoon. Crews will do some minor clean-up on primary streets and turn lanes after residential streets are complete.

The sun warmed pavement temperatures and helped with melting during the day today, but wet pavements and slush will refreeze overnight. Drivers should use caution especially during the Tuesday morning commute. Warming temperatures will help with continued melting this week, but nightly refreezes will remain possible.
