City Crews Plowing and Treating Streets Tonight and Overnight into Tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec. 2

The City’s crews plowed and treated streets throughout the day today, Monday, Dec. 1, and will continue tonight and overnight into tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec. 2. Crews plowed and treated primary streets today, and crews will continue working to complete secondary streets and then will move into residential streets. It can take crews 24-48 hours to plow and treat all streets after accumulating snow has ended.

As temperatures drop overnight, streets are expected to refreeze and become slick. Drivers should use caution especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses.

Residents can help by moving cars, trash cans, and other obstruction from streets. Crews cannot plow if streets or cul-de-sacs are too congested, and they will move on to finish their routes and attempt to return after all other streets are completed. Crews thank you for your help and patience.
