A section of Northwest Bent Tree Drive between Northwest Chipman Road and Northwest Bent Tree Circle is set to close on Thursday, June 12, and will remain closed until approximately the end of June. The work is necessary as part of the last phase of the Chipman Road Improvements project. Surface seal operations in Lee’s Summit are expected to begin on Friday, June 6, and will last for approximately one month, weather permitting. A section of southbound Northeast Douglas Street between Northeast Orchard and Northeast Elm streets is set to close on Tuesday, June 3. Work is permitted through Wednesday, June 4. Detour routes include Northeast Orchard Street, Northeast Green Street, and Northeast Maple Street, or Northeast Orchard Street, Northeast Main Street, and Northeast Maple Street.

Update 6/18/25: The Maybrook Rd Bridge is now open.
A section of Northeast Maybrook Road between Northeast Anderson Drive and Northeast Saint Andrews Circle is closed for emergency repairs to the wooden bridge. The duration of the closure is unknown at this time. Traffic is encouraged to use Northeast Anderson Drive as a detour route.

 

A section of eastbound Southwest Second Street between Southwest Jefferson and Southwest Market streets is set to close on Monday, May 19, and will remain closed for approximately two weeks, weather permitting. Westbound Southwest Second Street will remain open. READ MORE -->
