A City crew is scheduled to report at midnight to treat streets with salt before potential freezing rain tomorrow morning, Wednesday, February 5. Streets may become slick due to pavement temperatures being below freezing. Drivers should use caution during the morning commute, especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses. Pavement temperatures are expected to rise above freezing by mid-morning Wednesday.

 

The intersection of Southwest Third and Jefferson streets is set to close on Monday, February 24, and will remain closed until approximately early April. The closure is necessary for rehabilitation to failing sanitary sewer manholes located in the street.
