City Crews Prepared for Possible Refreeze

The City’s crews prepared trucks and will be called in as needed tonight, Thurs., March 16, and overnight into Fri., March 17, due to the potential for a refreeze. High winds should dry out pavements; however, crews will be called in as needed to apply salt treatment in case any wet pavement refreezes. Drivers should be aware of the potential for refreeze especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses.
