Night Work Scheduled July 19-24 for Pavement Management Programs

The City’s mill and overlay and surface seal programs both have night work scheduled July 19-24, to minimize disruptions to traffic on major roads. Night work will generally take place beginning at 8 p.m. at night and will continue overnight until 7 a.m. the next morning, from Sunday night, July 19, through Friday morning, July 24. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.

Mill and overlay work will take place on NW Pryor Road between NW Chipman Road and NW Summit Woods Crossing, on NW Chipman Road between NW Pryor Road and NW Jacobs Drive, and on NE Pavestone Drive. Surface Seal will take place on NE Douglas/NW Lee’s Summit Road between NW Colbern Road and City limits, on NW Murray Road between NW Longview Road and NW Chipman Road, and on SW 3rd Street between SW View High Drive and SW Pryor Road.

These roads will not be fully closed, but drivers may experience delays.

City Crews Plowing and Treating Streets Tonight and Overnight into Tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec. 2

The City’s crews plowed and treated streets throughout the day today, Monday, Dec. 1, and will continue tonight and overnight into tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec. 2. Crews plowed and treated primary streets today, and crews will continue working to complete secondary streets and then will move into residential streets. It can take crews 24-48 hours to plow and treat all streets after accumulating snow has ended.
