Blizzard conditions are possible overnight due to the forecast for heavy snow and high winds. The City’s crews completed plowing and treating residential streets this afternoon, Thursday, February 20. The sun helped with some melting today, but refreezing is likely overnight into tomorrow, Friday, February 21. Cold temperatures continue to limit the effectiveness of salt and snow remains packed to pavements even after being plowed and treated. Sunshine and warmer temperatures over the weekend will help with additional melting.
