City Accepting Applications for Community Development Block Grants for COVID-19 Relief
The City of Lee’s Summit is currently accepting applications from qualified agencies through June 5 for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding specifically allocated to provide relief to low-to-moderate income individuals affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, the City will receive $219,061 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Qualified agencies include public agencies and nonprofit organizations. For-profit organizations may also be eligible for consideration if the proposed programs or projects serve a public purpose. Individuals are not eligible to apply.
Applications should be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 5 p.m. on June 5. For questions about the application and/or eligibility requirements, contact Sarah Tilbury at 969-1243 or email Sarah.Tilbury@cityofLS.net.
