Lee’s Summit 2023 State of the City on August 18

Lee’s Summit Mayor Bill Baird will deliver the State of the City address on Friday, Aug. 18 in The Aspen Room at The Stanley in downtown Lee’s Summit, 308 SE Douglas St. The Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce is hosting the luncheon. The event begins at 11 a.m. with the mayor’s address scheduled to start at noon.

The annual State of the City address is an opportunity for Mayor Baird to celebrate the accomplishments of the community and discuss his vision for building a foundation for healthy growth. He will also highlight City priorities, key projects and initiatives, and provide a look ahead to future opportunities. The State of the City address will be broadcast live on YouTube.com/cityofls and will be available at cityofLS.net.

The State of the City is open to the public. For those wishing to purchase lunch, tickets are available for $25 at LSchamber.com. For questions contact the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce at 816-524-2424.
