How to Participate
To be an official Make Music Day event you must register as either a performer or a venue to the Make Music Day platform.

Musician Registration
Musicians of all levels and types are invited to sign up and participate. Singers, church choirs, jazz combos, string quartets, rock bands, glee clubs, MCs, marching bands, mariachi, and every other kind of musician, of any age group or skill level, all are welcome.
When you sign up as a performer, you will choose from a list of available venues in Lee's Summit. Select your desired venue and time for your performance. After your event is confirmed, you will work directly with the venue to set up your show.
Venue Registration
Performers need places to play. Any place can be a venue. Restaurants, lobbies, patios, porches, parks, and rooftops are all great places to perform. If you have a space that can accommodate live music please consider registering your location as a venue for Make Music Day.
When musicians register for Make Music Day, they will see all the available venue options and select where they would like to set up and perform. As a venue, you work directly with the musicians to coordinate the performance.
What Happens on Make Music Day?
Musicians and venues from across the City come together to make music! Anyone can see the schedule of the day's events by visiting the Make Music Day platform. The events calendar will be available in early June.
