Police Headquarters/Court Facility Renovations - $5.5 million

Lee's Summit's Police Headquarters was constructed over 20 years ago at 10 NE Tudor Road. The facility houses the City's Municipal Court and prosecutor's office. While the building remains structurally sound, it does not meet the standards required to meet security needs. However, renovations within the current facility can meet the requirements for safety while providing an excellent citizen experience.

Work spaces have grown, operational structures have changed, and the prior building design needs to be restructured to maximize operational efficiency and meet contemporary needs. The Police Department's workforce has become more diverse with an increased number of female police officers. Currently the locker room facilities do not meet the demands of the diverse workforce and with more growth expected in the number of female officers, additional locker rooms are needed.
