Vehicle Storage Regulations
What’s allowed and where should you park it? Vehicles come in all types, and there are ordinances for where they can be stored. The storage and parking of Recreational Vehicles, Boats, ATVs, and Utility Trailers must comply with the ordinance's regulations. Please see the table below for what is permitted.
As a reminder, recreational vehicles and travel trailers are not permitted for long-term on-site dwelling and cannot be permanently connected to sewer, gas, electrical, or water lines. Short-term dwelling is permitted for up to 28 days per year. This is limited to no more than four occurrences, each with a seven-day duration.
Motor vehicles designed or regularly used for carrying freight, merchandise, or more than eight passengers and licensed in excess of one-ton gross vehicle weight are prohibited from being stored or parked in a residential district, except for deliveries.
