Chipman Road - View High Dr to Bent Tree Dr
Project Description:
This project is one of six projects funded by the 2007 1/2 cent sales tax renewal. This project will reconstruct the roadway as a 3-lane facility with turn lanes. The existing one-lane RR tunnel will be removed, and widened to support two-way traffic. A pedestrian bridge will be put in it's place.
Project Rationale:
SAFETY: This project will improve safety by leveling the roadway and improving sight distance. The right of way component will preserve right of way for future capacity improvements.
Current Project Status:
Construction is underway with some road closures.
