Community Advisory Group

CAG Meeting #1 - October 20, 2010

The first Lee’s Summit Water Utilities Department Strategic Plan meeting with the Community Advisory Group (CAG) was held on October 20, 2010. 

Wes Owen, Assistant Director of Operations, welcomed the members of the CAG and introduced the consultants for the project.  Mr. Owen then provided an overview presentation of the Water Utilities Department.  The consulting team for the project, which is lead by Bruce Hattig with Bartlett & West Engineering and Kim Carlos with KC Consulting, then followed with a presentation about the Strategic Planning Process and reviewed the Community Advisory Group’s role in the Strategic Planning Process.  The Department Overview and Strategic Planning Process Overview presentations are available here.

CAG Meeting #2 - November 17, 2010

The second of the Community Advisory Group meetings was held on November 17, 2010 .  The meeting focused primarily on the customer survey results.  Karen Falk, ETC Institute, discussed the formal survey, its methodology and its validity.  CAG members discussed specific aspects of the survey and expressed their views related to customer satisfaction levels and service level preferences.  Included in the discussion was the informal online survey results.
