Operations Divison
The bulk of the Fire Department’s budget and personnel fall within the Operations Division, which responds to all types of fires, emergency medical incidents, rescue situations, hazardous materials incidents, and coordinates the city’s response to city-wide emergencies.
The Operations Division operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The Division is divided in three shifts (A, B, C) and seven stations. Personnel that make up this division are listed below:
- Assistant Chief (A Shift), (B Shift), (C Shift)
- Battalion Chief (A Shift), (B Shift), (C Shift)
- Captains (7 Stations)
- Specialist
- Paramedic
- Engineer
- Firefighter
