Meet Local Artist Jim Ware at City Hall on July 21

The City of Lee’s Summit invites you to meet local artist Jim Ware on Thursday, July 21, from 5:30 - 7 p.m., in the lobby of City Hall, 220 SE Green St., Lee’s Summit. Find out more about the artist and enjoy some of his artwork on display in City Hall.  Light hors d’oeuvres and wine sampling is also available, wine is compliments of Snax Catering.

The City of Lee’s Summit, in partnership with the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street, and the Community Blood Center, will host a community blood drive on Mon., July 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Howard Conference Room (second floor) of Lee’s Summit City Hall, 220 SE Green Street. Open House for Proposed Lee’s Summit Transfer Station is June 22

The City of Lee’s Summit will host an open house for the proposed transfer station from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Lee’s Summit City Hall, 220 SE Green St., in the Howard Conference Room on the second floor.

The purpose of the open house is to provide an opportunity for residents to learn more about the proposed transfer station and ask questions prior to the start of the development process.
