We're Looking for Stakeholders for Code Review!

The City will be reviewing its current residential and commercial building code in comparison to the new 2018 International codes. During this process we are seeking qualified individuals to help serve on review committees to prepare necessary amendments. Two 6-month review committees will be established which will begin in January. The review committees are being asked to examine a variety of topics such as building, energy conservation, plumbing, mechanical, fuel gas, and electrical. 
 

 

 

 

If you are interested in being a stakeholder in this process, please fill out an application by Nov. 17, 2017 to be considered for one of the two review committees.

The City adopted an Economic Development Incentive Policy supporting the Economic Development Vision as outlined by the City Council.  This policy includes information on the type and availability of incentive programs as well as targeted economic development outcomes and geographic areas. The City of Lee’s Summit is prepared to strategically and responsibly consider the use of incentive programs to meet our economic development goals and outcomes in support of this vision.
