Minimum starting salary is $15.99 per hour plus an excellent benefit package.
Duties will include enforcement of animal control ordinances; writing reports and preparing investigative cases; relocation of wildlife; assisting in office operations and maintenance of the municipal shelter.
High school diploma or G.E.D. required with applicable post-secondary education preferred. Applicants must have or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license prior to beginning work. The necessary skills include public relations, written communications, crisis/conflict management plus the ability to assist with euthanizing and control of dangerous and large animals. Applicants must be willing to work shift hours which includes weekends and holidays.
