This position provides elevated diagnostic and problem solving for complex support issues. Uses advanced knowledge of desktop hardware and software technologies and basic knowledge of network systems and protocols to troubleshoot issues and determine appropriate tier II resolution. Evaluates and thoroughly troubleshoots all desktop support issues prior to escalating to tier III support and continues to work closely with higher tiered personnel during resolution. Assists in supporting the lifecycle of end user equipment. Makes appropriate recommendations for technology improvements and purchases when requested.
Minimum requirements include three years successfully employed working experience in providing computer hardware, software and end user support required; bachelor’s degree in technology or related field of study from an accredited institution is preferred.
