Communications Supervisor - Police

Minimum starting salary is $42,866 annually plus an excellent benefit package.



This position is a frontline supervisory position and duties include coordinating and supervising the communications unit 24 hours/7 days a week operation.   Duties also include acting as a department liaison internally and externally, assisting with department computer equipment needs, and managing the  unit’s  budget.



Minimum requirements include an Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred), a minimum of five years  communications experience, and a minimum  of three years of communications supervisory experience.    Knowledge of operations and maintenance of communications systems and equipment  are essential.   Excellent skills in supervision are a must.   Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
