Public Review of the Capital Improvement Plan
The City is asking for public comment on the 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
Public comments close at midnight on May 17 and can be submitted online.
This CIP outlines anticipated City infrastructure improvements for fiscal years 2022-2026 and serves as a public information document to advise residents and property owners of how the City plans to address significant capital needs. It contains information about the scope, location and funding for these projects.
Each year, overall goals for capital improvements are assessed and the means for accomplishing them. Every project in the plan has been considered for its financial feasibility, environmental impact, conformance to previously adopted plans, priorities established from the citizen input process and ability to meet the public need.
The 2022-2026 CIP totals $356,037,000 which includes funding from prior years. It is a flexible plan that can be altered as conditions, funding, priorities, and regulations change.
