Missouri: People, Places and Heritage. The photographers of Summit Art celebrate our state’s bicentennial. Through vivid and captivating images, this exhibit showcases the best of Missouri’s intriguing people and beautiful places. A perfect way to celebrate the founding of the “show me” state.

Fourth Friday Art Walks
Downtown Lee's Summit Main Street

Fourth Friday Art Walks in Downtown Lee’s Summit happen on the fourth Friday of the month, April through August. Each Art Walk is packed with a variety of activities including artist receptions, artist showcases, Music in the Park at Howard Station Park, street theatre, Yoga in the Streets, and even some surprises!

Downtown Sculpture Walk
Lee's Summit Cultural Arts

The Downtown Sculpture Walk is an outdoor public art program with the goal to enhance the vibrancy of our city through unique and engaging public art. Several sculptures are installed throughout the downtown business district. Artwork was selected from a national call for artists and juried by members of the Arts Council and Downtown Lee’s Summit.

Lee’s Summit Arts Week celebrates Lee’s Summit’s arts and culture scene with fun and engaging events all around the city. Explore outdoor sculptures, museums and visual art exhibits. Immerse yourself in a performance. Tour historic buildings or learn something new at a workshop or class.

Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street

Downtown Days is a family-friendly festival featuring carnival rides, live entertainment, arts and crafts, delicious food vendors, kids’ area, and much more!

Farmers Market
Downtown Mainstreet

The Downtown Lee’s Summit Farmers Market has been named the no. 1 Farmers Market in the state of Missouri by the America’s Favorite Farmers Markets contest six years in a row. The Farmers Market has been in existence for more than 20 years and features goods from over 50 local farmers and producers.

Music in the Park
Memorial Day to Labor Day weekends

Enjoy free Friday night concerts featuring a variety of musical genres at Music in the Park at Howard Station Park in Downtown Lee’s Summit. This event starts Memorial Day weekend and runs through Labor Day weekend.

ROCK the AMP
Summer Concert Series

The lineup includes artists who have played in local, national and international venues; free movie events, concerts and more. The series is held May through October.

Summit Art Festival

The Summit Art Festival is a free, three-day, outdoor, high-quality, fine art event in historic downtown Lee’s Summit. This weekend event is organized by Summit Art and features juried artist booths, Student’s Pavilion, vendors and live music throughout the weekend.

Oktoberfest
September

At Oktoberfest transport yourself to the heart of Munich with all the excitement of this wundervoll fall festival in downtown Lee’s Summit. Oktoberfest features Kids Street, arts and crafts fair, German meals, beer and brat tents, Biergartens, carnival, the Sportzelt, live entertainment, contests, a Rootbiergarten, home brew tasting, German dancers and much more.
