Discovery Series

The Discovery Series provides free lectures and interactive demonstrations to increase understanding of how arts, science, history and more impact our community and provide the opportunity to learn and discuss a variety of unique topics. Lectures take place at various locations throughout the City. Due to space limitations, registration is required for all lectures. 

Community Calendar

With a variety of galleries, museums, performance venues, festivals, and public art, residents and visitors alike will find plenty to do and see throughout the City. Whether you want to learn a new art technique, find an exciting event to attend or seek out new exhibitions, you'll find plenty of cultural offerings throughout Lee's Summit. Arts and Culture manage the Community Calendar. The calendar provides residents and visitors with a comprehensive listing of upcoming cultural and community events.
