Biographical Statement: I have been working for over 30 years carving and forging sculptures. I have placed over 150 temporary and permanent pieces in 26 states across America.
Artist's Statement: Connecting community, exploring its culture and helping to add identity through public art is what I do. For 30 years I have shared my large-scale art with the goal of warming the creative soul and bringing happiness to the heart. I use rugged materials and embrace the aspects of a locality, inspiring and bridging generations of peoples from diverse backgrounds with my sculpture. For more years than I can count, I have shared the story of sculpture on a temporary and permanent basis with over 150 communities in 26 states across North America. The locations form a diverse fabric across our nation..examples include: Tampa Florida, Boston MA, Atlanta GA, Chicago Il, Lee's Summit, MO, Jackson Hole WY, and Newport Beach CA just to name a few. My life is a balance of Art and family with my wife Angela, and our four children on an Island home in Key West, Florida.
