2025 FIRE DEPARTMENT ANNUAL REPORT

As your Fire Chief, I am proud to reflect on the work done by the Lee’s Summit Fire Department throughout 2025. Our focus remains simple and steady—show up prepared, take care of our community and take care of one another. Everything we do is guided by professionalism, respect, integrity, duty and excellence.

This past year, we stayed focused on maintaining a strong, reliable fire department while planning responsibly for the future. That means making thoughtful decisions, being good stewards of resources, and continually evaluating how we deliver service so we can meet the needs of a growing community.

What truly sets this department apart is our people. Every day, our firefighters, paramedics, communications personnel, who are often the first voice residents hear when they call for help and support staff bring skill, compassion and commitment to their work. Their willingness to train, learn and lead ensures that when someone in Lee’s Summit needs assistance, they can trust that a capable and dedicated team is already working on their behalf.

On behalf of the Lee’s Summit Fire Department, thank you for the trust you place in us. It is an honor to serve this community, and I am proud of the men and women who work every day to keep Lee’s Summit safe.
