Biographical Statement: I have been passionately creating art for over a decade. I honed my skills at the University of Iowa, where I specialized in printmaking and ceramics. Recently, my artistic focus has shifted towards painting and illustration, allowing me to explore new dimensions of creativity.
Artist's Statement: For the past five years, I have been deeply involved in public art, finding immense joy in creating pieces that resonate with the communities I am a part of. I draw inspiration from the intricate patterns of the environment, infusing elements of surrealism into my depictions of wildlife and nature. My use of vibrant colors and playful artistic styles makes my work accessible and enjoyable for families and communities alike. I am driven by a profound desire to work in diverse communities, believing that art has the power to bridge cultural gaps and foster understanding. I am passionate about sharing my artwork and culture, aiming to celebrate the unique stories and traditions of each community I engage with. By doing so, I hope to create a dialogue that enriches both my artistic practice and the lives of those who experience my work.

What is your experience in the Public Arts: I have been doing large-scale murals and projects such as large city banners that hang from light posts or over construction sites as well as vinyl wraps on utility boxes.
