Take Time To Be Kind is one week devoted to random and purposeful acts of kindness throughout the Lee's Summit community. Community members, students and businesses are encouraged to participate, perhaps performing a good deed for a friend, neighbor or stranger without expecting anything in return.
Easy Ways to Give the Gift of Kindness
The Human Relations Commission will host two activities in the City Hall lobby throughout the week. The public is asked to share their acts of kindness on social media using #LSKindness.
Community members are invited to visit the Gratitude Station in the lobby of City Hall during business hours to create cards and signs with thoughtful messages that they can share to spread kindness and appreciation throughout the community.
City Hall Lobby Hours Monday - Friday | 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Complete the bingo-style passport with acts of kindness, from helping a neighbor to writing a gratitude note. Drop off completed passports at City Hall by the end of the week and be entered into a prize drawing.
