HHW Appointment Information - HHW Materials Accepted - HHW Calendar - HHW Participating Communities


The City's Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) facility is located within the City's Resource Recovery Park, 2101 SE Hamblen Road.  See map.


Residents and members of participating communities must schedule an appointment to properly dispose of up to 100 pounds of their unwanted residential HHW per appointment per day at no charge.  Proof of residency is required.  Residents of non-participating communities will be charged $50 per appointment per day to drop-off up to 100 pounds of their unwanted residential HHW.

*Unincorporated County participation includes communities with a population less than 500, as follows:

Unincorporated Cass County includes:  West Line, Lake Annette, East Lynne, Gunn City, Strasburg, Baldwin City, Riverview Estates, Loch Lloyd, and Creighton

Unincorporated Clay County includes:  Mosby, Missouri City, Prathersville, Randolph, Birmingham, Holt, Oakview, Oakwood, Oakwood Park, and Oaks

Unincorporated Jackson County includes:  Levasy, Unity Village, Sibley, and River Bend

Unincorporated Platte County includes:  Tracy, Platte Woods, Farley, Northmoor, Houston Lake, Iatan, and Ridgely
