HHW Appointment Information - HHW Materials Accepted - HHW Calendar - HHW Participating Communities
 The City's Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) facility is located within the City's Resource Recovery Park,
2101 SE Hamblen Road. See map.
Appointments are REQUIRED and are available, as follows:
- The 1st Saturday of the month (April to November); 7am to Noon
- The 3rd Wednesday of the month (year round); 2pm to 6:30pm **only LABOP is accepted on Wed.**
 LABOP = Light bulbs (fluorescent), Antifreeze, Battieries, Motor Oil (and other automotive fluids), and Paint products.

Other Options:
- Kansas City HHW facility; 4707 Deramus; Thursday through Saturday every week from 9am to 4pm. Appointments are required. Call (816) 784-2080 to schedule an appointment.
- Mobile HHW events are scheduled by the Mid-Americal Regional Council - Solid Waste Management District throughout the year at various locations across the Kansas City metro area, as indicated in the table below. There is no fee to dispose of HHW at these events; however, vehicle lines at these events are typically long.
