GOALS

The Lee’s Summit Municipal Court will:

• Ensure equal justice for all persons subject to the Court’s jurisdiction
• Provide courteous, prompt service to all patrons
• Operate the Court in the most efficient and effective manner consonant with delivery of equal justice and due process under the law
• Ensure independence of the judicial branch of government while maintaining a cooperative and respectful relationship with the executive and legislative branches
• Attract and retain a qualified workforce that will consistently respect diversity and the rights of all citizens
• Protect the community by administering appropriate penalty
• Strive to implement educational outreach to the community 

Municipal Court hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Court Docket Schedule:

Court is held the first through third Wednesdays and first through fourth Thursdays of each month according to the following schedule:

4th Friday: 8:30 am Contempt, 10:00 am Codes

4th and 5th Tuesdays: 8:00 am Prisoner Arraignments

Municipal Court offices may be reached at 969-1150. Phones are not answered after 3:00 pm during Wednesday Court sessions.
