You are invited to our Thanksgiving Luncheon at Gamber Community Center! Come enjoy a catered Thanksgiving meal with dessert on Thursday, November 20. Doors open at 11:45 a.m., and lunch is served at noon. This event is $12 per person, and pre-registration is required. To help celebrate Parks and Recreation month, LSPR wants you to LEGO To The Park! Join us on Saturday, July 26, for a FREE, family-friendly morning of creativity and community to celebrate Parks and Recreation month! Children ages 4 to 12 years old are invited to bring their LEGOs (Non-Duplo) and participate in collaborative building activities in the great outdoors. Compete for prizes! The first 50 children receive a swag bag from LSPR.

We will have donuts, juice, playground time, and an interactive Agents of Discovery mission—all designed to foster imagination, connection, and fun.

We've got two exciting builds lined up! One is to construct the tallest tower, and the other will be an object you can find in our parks – we'll announce what that is in the morning! Don't forget to bring your Legos!

We are pleased to announce the official name of the upcoming new park within the Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation system: Red Hawk Park. This park will be situated west of Pryor Road and south of SW Scherer Road. We invite you to view the current progress of this exciting development.
