Spring League
Please see below for policies/procedures/protocols as they relate to Covid-19 and the Spring league:

  • Most likely, no usage of LSR-7 facilities, so all practices and games held at Harris Park CC
    • Four weeks of practice, four weeks of games (game weeks are double headers) 8 total weeks and 8 total games
  • Two game courts used, set up on opposite sides of the gymnasium and the facility is split by a curtain
  • Games on each court scheduled on the hour, allowing plenty of time for the teams that just finish to leave and be out of the facility before the next two teams enter
  • The two courts have staggered start times by 30 minutes, thus avoiding teams entering/leaving at the same time
  • Masks must be worn by every individual in the facility, except for the players actively playing on the court. Once they come off the court they have to put their mask back on
  • Parents are not allowed to attend practices
  • There is no cubbie seating allowed at Harris Park CC on game days, spectators must bring their own seating and sit socially distanced in the assigned parent seating sections
  • Each family is encouraged to have no more than two individuals per player attend games
  • LSPR purchased electronic whistles, so referees did not have to blow on a whistle for the sounds to be heard. The electronic whistles work by pressing a button
  • Staff sanitizes player benches after every match and the current game ball is switched out for a freshly sanitized and air dried game ball
  • Certain cubbies are used for player benches, the benches are socially distanced from the other team
