Girl's Volleyball


For recreational or intermediate levels. The league is a great way to continue working on volleyball skills in a game setting. Games are played at HPCC. T-shirt is provided.

Itty Bitty and Pee Wee Sports

Itty Bitty and Pee Wee Sports are skill development programs. Each participant receives a t-shirt and participation medal. Parental involvement is optional during skill work. Parents may also be asked to assist during the scrimmage portion of the program. During Weeks One and Two, participants and parents work on each skill together as a group with direction from the Itty Bitty Site Supervisor. During Weeks Three and Four, participants and parents review each skill as a group. Participants then begin working on a scrimmage with the time remaining. On Week Five, participants play an entire game. 


SOCCER

Pee Wee Indoor Soccer -Ages 5-6 - A 4 week instructor lead program for children ages 5 and 6 that introduces and expands their knowledge of Soccer. Skills include dribbling, trapping, shooting and goal keeping. Basic rules of the game will also be covered. No class on 11/25 due to holiday weekend.

Itty Bitty Indoor Soccer - Ages 3-4 - A skill development program that rotates participants through stations that focus on major skills of the game. During the final week, participants will play an entire game. The success of this program is dependent upon volunteer station leaders, therefore, parents/guardians will be asked to be volunteers. Inclement Weather Line: 816.969.1516 option #1.
No equipment is required for this class. Participants may bring their own ball. It is recommended to bring a water bottle. Please note time that you registered for, this will be the start time for all classes. No class will be held on September 2 due to holiday weekend.

Itty Bitty Indoor T-Ball - Ages 3-4 - A 4 week instructor lead program that introduces and expands their knowledge of T-ball. Skills included fielding ground balls and pop ups, hitting and bases-running. Participants are encouraged to wear a shirt or jersey of their favorite team!
No class 11/25 due to holiday weekend.

Beginner tennis lessons will be offered for multiple age groups. Registration can be done using the link below or by calling Sean Dorrance at 816-969-1544.

Flag Football

Youth Flag Football Skills & Drills is a five-week class for kids age 7-11 to help develop the skills to be successful in the sport. The class will involve on a variety of drills that will touch on areas of the game such as throwing, flag pulling, receiver and coverage skills and blocking skills. Scrimmages will be held toward the latter end of the course.
This is a five-week instructional class, not a league.

Spikeball

High School Spikeball League. The fee includes 6 games and playoffs. Games will occur at either Lea Mckeigan North Park or Hartman Park and will take place on either Friday or Saturday evening. The schedule will be released after full registration is complete.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Tournament
Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation is hosting a Pokémon Tournament! Come out on Friday night to see who Lee's Summits Pokémon Master is! Fee includes entry into double elimination tournament, food, drinks and a prize for the winner. The tournament will be for the latest edition of Pokémon, Scarlett & Violet. All participants must bring their own system and game.
All participants must provide their own system and game. TV's are not needed for this event.

Madden League 
LSPR is hosting a Madden Football League! This is a 7-week league that will include up to a four-week playoff, depending on enrollment. The league will use the newest edition of Madden, Madden 24, and can be played on either XBox Series X/S, PC or PS5. All games will be played at home and will be run over Discord. Games will be played at any time during the week they are scheduled. Entry fee will include a prize for the league champion.

eSports Tournament 
LSPR is hosting a Super Smash Brothers Tournament! Entry fee of $10 includes participation in double elimination tournament, pizza and drinks. Event takes place at Harris Park Community Center. Consoles & controllers provided by LSPR, but feel free to bring your own controller. Tournament is double elimination. Depending on enrollment tournament may be split into a beginner and advanced bracket.
