For your convenience! the Key FOB should be easier for you to have with you at all times as it slides onto your key ring. In addition, the Key FOB allows LSPR to better track attendance, to know who is using the facilities and save time when registering for programs or swiping in at facilities. Stop by anytime to pick up your free Key FOB at any of our facilities so you can start carrying your Key to Fun! (Replacement FOBs are $1)
A 24 hour notice of cancellation or change in contracted services like massage therapy, personal training and private swim lessons is required. If an appointment is cancelled or changed within less than 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, a refund will NOT be processed. In the event of a cancellation by the contractor prior to the 24 hour notice, the appointment may be rescheduled or refunded. In the event of a cancellation by the contractor less than 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, you may reschedule your appointment and will receive an additional 15 minutes of service at no charge.

Call 816-969-1516 a half hour or less before your scheduled activity to see if it has been cancelled. If the activity is scheduled at an R-7 school and school was cancelled during the day, so are the activities for that evening.
There are 5 easy steps to becoming a VIP: 1. Complete the VIP Interest Form and submit it to our main office. 2. Meet with the Volunteer Coordinator and discuss details about the opportunities you are interested in. 3. Review the VIP Handbook. 4. Create an Action Plan and be realistic about what you can accomplish. 5. Provide exceptional patron service. Call 816-969-1557 for more information.
No person shall use a camera, cell phone or PDA in any changing room or washroom in LSPR facilities. Please report any actions to the contrary. LSPR staff may take photos or videos of activities. These photos/videos may be used in future Illustrated Magazines, brochures, articles, ads, etc. Thanks for saying cheese!
Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation is a satisfaction guaranteed department and understands the need to provide flexibility to patrons needs. In the case of a schedule conflict or inability to attend a program a refund will be issued to the participant. Prior to the deadline of the program a 100% refund of the fees will be returned. After registration deadline 10% of the fee paid will be withheld from the refund, for administrative cost. After the start of the program 25% of the fees will be withheld from the refund, for administrative cost. Administrative fees withheld from team leagues may vary depending on timeline of withdrawal and schedule release. Amount withheld will be approved Assistant Administrator of Parks and Recreation.
If you are not satisfied with the services provided by Lee’s Summit Park and Recreation the following options may be followed. 1. Receive a full refund. 2. Repeat the activity at no charge. 3. Receive a full credit that may be applied to any departmental activity. Contact activity supervisor to proceed with options. In order to receive a full refund participant will be required to meet with the supervisor of each program. Refund checks or credits to credit cards will be processed within 14 business days. *We are unable to refund activities that are provided by another organization or business. i.e. Kansas City Royal tickets, theater tickets etc.
No. There are different rates for residents and non-residents. $8 for a single visit for Lee's Summit residents and $11 per person for a non-resident. Season passes are $80 and $95.
That is correct. After doing several surveys and researching comparable facilities in the metro area, it was determined that the majority of our residents would benefit from a new lower, per person rate. While this option did eliminate the family pass it also eliminated the need to pay for family members who may not use the facilities regularly. Those patrons can pay a single visit fee as needed.
All of our Community Center's offer an Annual and a Flex Membership. The Flex Membership is taken out of your bank account each month on the 15th or next business day.
