Summit Ice Features

Summit Ice is an 8,000-square-foot outdoor ice rink conveniently located at the corner of Chipman and Douglas. As the only outdoor ice rink in eastern Jackson County, the facility was developed as part of a $4.7 million renovation project that also included a concessions building, restrooms, and additional park amenities.

Surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass panels and accented with brushed aluminum railings, Summit Ice features a state-of-the-art chilling system designed to support reliable skating conditions and create lasting winter traditions. An expansive patio with ample seating, open fire pits, and twinkling overhead lights sets a warm, inviting atmosphere, while added features such as selfie stations and street curling provide extra opportunities for fun and gathering throughout the season.
