Camp Summit is a recreational program for youth, ages 5-11 years old that is operated by Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation. It provides a wide variety of activities including but not limited to: swimming, bowling, skating, field trips, movies, guest speakers, organized games and activities and much more! Campers are required to bring their lunch. An afternoon snack is provided daily.
The camp is staffed by counselors, beginning with high school graduates through college degreed staff; trained in leadership, safety procedures, activities and supervisor skills. Staff/participant ratio is 1:8 or 1:10 depending on age.
UPDATE, May 14, 2021: Based upon the expiration of the most recent health order from the Jackson County Health Department, the Camp Summit program will be able to revert to it's original form of offering.
- Masks will NOT be required
- Campers will swim at Summit Waves everyday
- Campers will attend two (2) field trips per week, and they will not be confined to outdoor options only
- The pods are no longer, campers will still be split up by age group but will be able to intermix with all in attendance
- 5/6 = 1:8
- 7/8 = 1:10
- 9-11 = 1:12
- Parents/Guardians will be allowed inside the facility, the pick up and drop off process will take place inside the gymnasium and not out front of HPCC
Camp Summit is full for the 2021 summer.
Due to the nature of the enrollment form, there is no wait list and under no circumstances are we able to enroll any additional campers.
Enrollment for the 2022 Summer will begin March 1, 2022 for Lee's Summit Residents and April 1, 2022 for Non-Residents.

Returning Parent Information Form
There are two fees associated with Camp Summit.
The first is a one-time, non-refundable enrollment fee. The enrollment fee is $105.00 and that fee is paid along with the submission of an enrollment form which can be submitted online or printed off and submitted in person. This fee holds the campers spot in camp, gets them three camp t-shirts and a season pass to Summit Waves.
The weekly fee is $125.00/week. That is a flat fee and it does not matter how many days per week the camper attends. You only have to pay for the weeks that you need to send your camper so once the enrollment form has been submitted and the enrollment fee has been paid, then you just pay the $125.00 for whatever week(s) you need your camper to attend.

School Break Camp

School Break Camp is held on most R-7 No School Days from November to April, from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM at Harris Park Community Center.

- School Break Camp is a separate program from Camp Summit, therefore a new enrollment form must be filled out and submitted and a $30.00 enrollment fee must be paid for the camper to be enrolled
- Enrollment is NOT COMPLETE until we have the enrollment form AND the $30.00 enrollment fee has been paid
