Campers are required to bring their lunch. An afternoon snack is provided daily.
The camp is staffed by counselors, beginning with high school graduates through college degreed staff; trained in leadership, safety procedures, activities and supervisor skills. Staff/participant ratio is 1:8 or 1:10 depending on age.
Camp Summit Enrollment
Enrollment in Camp Summit consists of two parts:
1) Complete the enrollment form (submit online or print off and bring to Harris Park CC) - Links found below.
2) Pay $90.00 enrollment fee
**NOTE: Enrollment is NOT complete until the enrollment form has been received by LSPR AND the $90.00 enrollment fee has been paid
Enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis. Camp Summit enrolls 750 total campers, once that number is reached under no circumstances will additional campers be enrolled - thank you for your understanding.
Once the enrollment form is submitted, Harris Park CC staff will call you to get your $90.00 payment made. You may also call 816-969-1540 to make payment. If you leave a message we will call you back, generally in the afternoon at some point.
The $90.00 enrollment fee is a non-refundable fee. Every camper being enrolled must have their own enrollment form filled out and the enrollment fee paid.
Every camper must have a new enrollment form filled out for them each summer.
There are two fees associated with Camp Summit.
The first is a one-time, non-refundable enrollment fee. The enrollment fee is $90.00 and that fee is paid along with the submission of an enrollment form which can be submitted online or printed off and submitted in person. This fee holds the campers spot in camp, gets them three camp t-shirts and a season pass to Summit Waves.
The weekly fee is $120.00/week. That is a flat fee and it does not matter how many days per week the camper attends. You only have to pay for the weeks that you need to send your camper so once the enrollment form has been submitted and the enrollment fee has been paid, then you just pay the $120.00 for whatever week(s) you need your camper to attend.
