Nerf Night

Harris Park Community Center

On March 20, get geared up for a NERF battle of epic proportions! Come compete in randomly assigned matches to go home with prizes! Participants compete with each other, but everyone is scored individually. Every player is guaranteed at least 6 matches. Expect a variety of game modes, including team deathmatches, attack-and-defend, capture the flag, and more.

Mermaid and Pirate Swim

Lovell Community Center

Dive into the magic of National Mermaid Day! Swim alongside enchanting mermaids and a swashbuckling pirate at J. Thomas Lovell Community Center and let your imagination soar beneath the waves. Enjoy plenty of photo opportunities, crafts, and a sweet treat. $10 per participant - no charge for supervising adults. Saturday, March 14th, 10 am-12 pm.

March Into Spring

March into Spring with LSPR is a FREE four-week, step-based wellness challenge for LSPR Community Center members running from March 2 through March 29. Participants will track their steps using any device or app and submit a screenshot as proof. There will be four weekly winners and one overall winner, all receiving an LSPR gift card.

Be on the lookout for introductory emails before the challenge begins, and get ready to step up, stay active, and enjoy some friendly competition as we welcome spring together!

Skateboarding 101

Beginning March 21, get your kiddo acclimated to skateboarding with our intro-level class! Skateboarding is a fast-paced, exciting, and fun activity that does have proper etiquette and an unwritten code of conduct. In this class, the instructor will teach skate park etiquette, balance, basic skills, and simple tricks... perfect for beginners! The class will meet a total of three times.

Run Your Way 5K Training

Legacy Park Amphitheater & Longview CC

Join LSPR personal trainer Nikki Parkhurst for an 8-week, beginner-friendly running program designed to help new and returning runners build confidence, boost endurance, and cross the finish line of a 5K feeling strong and proud! Using supportive, progressive interval training, this program takes the guesswork out of running and makes the journey enjoyable and achievable.

Mario Kart Tournament

Harris Park Community Center

LSPR is hosting a Mario Kart Tournament on Friday, April 3! Entry fee of $10 includes participation in pool play (depending on number of entries), double elimination tournament, pizza and drinks. Event takes place at Harris Park Community Center. Consoles & controllers provided by LSPR, but feel free to bring your own controller.

Youth Intro to Volleyball

Looking to get on the volleyball court? This 5-week instructional course is designed for volleyball beginners ages 6-9. In class, youth athletes will learn the basics of serving, bumping, setting, spiking, and general gameplay. Program starts on Saturday, April 4.
