Artist Reception & Exhibit at Gamber Center. Thursday, July 31. 6:30pm

The Lee’s Summit Arts Council will be hosting a reception to present photographer Diane Brown and her works to be on exhibit at the Gamber Center July 31 through October 16, 2014. The opening event will be held on Thursday, July 31. The reception, which is free to the public, will begin at 6:30pm with a presentation by the artist beginning at 7pm.

Diane Brown is a photographer who is especially excited about exhibiting at the Gamber Center. Not too long ago she was leaving a class at Gamber and stopped by the front desk to share her vision of putting art on the walls in the hallways. And now she is the one whose art will be hanging! She enjoys floral photography because of the bright, bold colors but that does not limit her interest in nature, wildlife and even still life.

The Gamber Center is located at 4 SE Independence Avenue in Lee's Summit, just off 291 Hwy and 2nd Street. Exhibit hours Monday-Thursday 6am-9pm Friday: 6am-5pm, Saturday: 9am-5pm Sunday: Noon-4pm For more information call 816-969-1500 or visit www.lsartscouncil.net
