SilverSneaker, Prime, Silver and Fit and Optum Memberships are all accepted at HPCC!

Monthly memberships are withdrawn from checking accounts on the 15th of each month. An enrollment fee and a voided check (no starter checks) are required at the time of registration, as well as the first month's dues. Monthly membership fees are not prorated and are priced for the month you join. All fees are priced for individuals ages 4 and over. Children 3 and under are free. Please call in advance for more information regarding our membership options at 816.969.1540.

This facility is great for basketball, volleyball and walking.

LSPR MEMBERSHIP HANDBOOK

Membership Cancellation

Those wishing to cancel their LSPR membership need to do so at a Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation facility. For LSPR members who wish to cancel their membership but are unable to get to a facility, use the Harris Park Community Center Membership online cancellation form.

Annual Membership Extensions or Holds

Annual members may place their membership on hold for documented medical reasons for a minimum of one month and a maximum of three months. Membership holds are available only for annual memberships and may be used once per current membership term. The Membership Hold Request Form will be available in both electronic and paper formats. Paper forms may be submitted at any LSPR community center or at the Parks and Recreation office in City Hall. A doctor’s note must be submitted along with the request form. This note should include the doctor’s office, the patron’s name, and the date(s) of the non-exercise period.

For recreational or intermediate levels. The league is a great way to continue working on volleyball skills in a game setting. Signups are by team, and LSPR will not provide uniforms or practice time. Games are played at HPCC. This league is for TEAM registration only (not individuals). Coaches should register the team.

Harris Park Community Center Rentals

* Deposit and Rental Fee are due at the time of reservation. Reservations must be made in person. Rental dates/times will not be held. Space is reserved only when the rental agreement is filled out and the full payment is received.

Harris Park Community Center Facility Rules & Etiquette

The following are not allowed in Harris Park Community Center:

1. Chewing Gum
2. Inappropriate footwear or excessively dirty footwear (See #4 under “General Rules”).
3. Inappropriate attire.
4. Abusive or profane language.
5. Roughhousing or horseplay.
6. Smokeless tobacco or smoking inside. This is a tobacco-free facility.
7. Use of any electronic, mechanical, manual, electric, digital, voltaic, or other devices, instruments, or means capable of recording, producing, duplicating, reproducing, storing, copying, transmitting, or displaying any visual, video, photographic, electronic, digital, recorded, or other visual images, picture, or representation, including but not limited to any camera, photographic camera, video camera, fiber optic camera, motion picture camera, television camera, camcorder, videotaping device, or camera cell phone, in any restroom, locker room, lavatory, bathroom, shower facility, or dressing room, in any building owned, leased to, or under the control of the Parks Department in order to protect the privacy of our patrons.

General Rules

1. LSPR is committed to the health, safety and welfare of each of its members and staff and will not tolerate unreasonable, threatening, obscene, harassing, indecent or illegal behavior.
2. No weapons of any kind are allowed within the facility.
3. LSPR has the right to terminate the membership of any member engaging in unacceptable behavior.
4. HPCC is a community-oriented facility. Patrons are expected to dress in attire appropriate for a family-friendly fitness facility. Participants are expected to dress in appropriate workout clothing. Shirts must be worn at all times that cover the chest. Patrons are encouraged to wear non-marking soled shoes. Proper, clean footwear is required.
5. Demonstrate respect for yourself, other patrons, staff, and property while enjoying the facility.
6. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult age 16 or older at all times.
7. Food & drinks are allowed in the vending/lobby area only. Water with a lid is allowed outside of the vending/lobby area.

Gymnasium Rules

1. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult (age 16 and over) at all times. Children are restricted to court area of their supervisor.
2. One goal will be available for open shooting at all times. Gameplay (i.e., 3 on 3, P-I-G, knockout) is not allowed on that basket.
3. All other goals may be used for gameplay and will remain at regulation height.
4. If patrons are waiting for court time, all games are limited to 10 minutes and the winning team can stay for 2 consecutive games.
5. Ask staff for assistance with volleyball equipment.
6. Patrons who violate any rules/regulations of HPCC will be asked to leave. If the request is refused, the LSPD will be called and trespassing charges will be filed.
