Green Street Event Spaces

The rental contract must be read in its entirety, completed properly, signed by lessee and received by Faciity and Events Manager Sean Dorrance.

Times specified in your rental contract are the maximum time allowed for your use of the facility. The set up and take down/cleaning time, is included in the rental time. Renters will not be allowed into rented area until designated times.

Catering kitchen has no cooking equipment. It includes refrigeration, warming cabinets, sinks, ice machine and work surfaces.

All decorations must be approved by the City staff; lighting, banners, streamers, etc. No tape of any kind is allowed on flooring. 

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on premises without permit. Application for an alcohol permit must be submitted at time of reservation. Alcohol is not permitted during events for persons under the age of 21. Please see alcohol request form.

Liquor License Permit

Equipment provided as a rental by Green Street must be requested in the facility request and approved by City staff. 

Liability insurance which names the City of Lee's Summit as additionally insured is required for inflatable play structures and special events. 

Renters are responsible for maintaining the space during their rental period and ensuring it is returned to its original condition by the end of the reserved time. All personal items, decorations, equipment and supplies brought into the facility must be fully removed prior to the conclusion of the rental. This includes, but is not limited to, signage, food and beverage materials, and any rented or third-party equipment.
