Water Utility 2019 Customer Satisfaction Survey Results

Water Utility 2019 Customer Satisfaction Survey Results

Lee’s Summit Water Utilities is dedicated to providing reliable water and sanitary sewer services responsibly and efficiently for the health and safety of our community with exceptional customer service, integrity and pride. Our customer’s satisfaction with the essential utility service we provide is extremely important to us. To evaluate our performance, a customer satisfaction survey was mailed to customers asking for opinions on how well the utility is delivering services to residents so water utilities may better serve the needs of the community.

The survey was mailed to a limited number of households selected at random and each customer response received remained completely confidential. Of the 2,000 surveys sent out, over 600 surveys were completed by customers. Each survey consisted of 31 questions in regards to service provided, methods of communication by the utility, monthly bill pay, payment options, water disruption and overall satisfaction of the water utility.

Ryan Murray, Project Manager, from ETC stated, “Lee’s Summit Water Utilities performed exceptionally well. Staff are outperforming similar organizations when it comes to the overall customer service experience in the office and in the field. I am proud to be a Lee’s Summit resident”.

The input from the survey is an important part of the city’s ongoing efforts to identify and respond to resident concerns. The customer response from the survey will help water utilities better understand our resident’s needs and wants to make Lee’s Summit a better place to live.

Thank you to everyone who participated!
