NW Ward Road at NW Chipman Road Closures

Northbound NW Ward Road at NW Chipman Road and southbound NW Ward Road at NW Chipman Road will close this evening, April 23, due to extensive damage and loss of power to the signaled intersection at NW Chipman and NW Ward roads.

Ward Rd Closure MapThe detour route for northbound NW Ward Road is NW Frances Road to NW Donovan Road, and the detour route for southbound NW Ward Road is either NW Ward Road to NW Blue Parkway or NW Tudor Road to NE Douglas Street. Eastbound and westbound traffic on NW Chipman Road will still be able to turn north onto NW Ward Road or south onto NW Ward Road. NW Donovan Road will remain accessible between NW Chipman and NW Tudor roads for local traffic. Signals on NW Chipman Road at its intersection with NW Ward Road will be bagged during the closure so that traffic along Chipman does not have to stop. The duration of the closures is currently unknown.
