City’s Crews Continue to Plow & Treat Residential Streets; Preparing for Potential Freezing Fog Tuesday Morning
City crews plowed and treated residential streets throughout the day on Mon., Dec. 16, and will continue overnight into Tues., Dec. 17. Approximately half of residential streets have been completed as of Monday evening, and crews still anticipate having all streets plowed and treated by 11 a.m. on Tues., Dec. 17. Crews will then work to clean up slush from primary streets throughout the day on Tuesday.

Streets will have areas of snow pack even after being plowed and treated.

City crews were out early this morning and will continue to plow and treat roadways around the clock. Several waves of snow are expected today and again on Monday. This may require crews to revisit main roadways. Public Works is urging citizens to use caution if traveling the roads as they will be snow covered and slick.

The forecast calls for a good chance of accumulating snow of one to three inches beginning late Sunday afternoon and continuing into Monday morning. Crews will continue to monitor conditions over the weekend and make adjustments as necessary.
