Latest Airport Improvements Unveiled

Lee’s Summit City leaders and over 80 guests celebrated the completion of Lee’s Summit Municipal Airport’s new t-hangars with a ribbon cutting ceremony held Friday, August 10.

With 28 total units, the two new buildings should be fully occupied by September. Total project cost was approximately $2.6 million.

Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT) served as the engineering consultant on the project. B. Dean Construction of Lee’s Summit was responsible for the project’s construction.
