City’s Crews to Treat Main Roadways and Bridges Early Friday Morning

City crews are scheduled to begin treating main roadways and bridges with salt in the early morning hours of Friday, Nov. 9, and will continue throughout the morning commute. Roadways may become slick in the morning as pavement temperatures fall below freezing, and residents should use caution at intersections and on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses. The City will continue to monitor the weather forecast and update its response accordingly.

The City of Lee’s Summit will hold a snow dry run Nov. 7 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to allow crews to prepare for the upcoming 2018-2019 winter weather season.
