City’s Crews Scheduled to Treat Streets Tonight, Tues., Jan. 28, and Overnight into Wed., Jan. 29
City crews are scheduled to begin treating streets with salt at 7 p.m. tonight, Tues., Jan. 28, and will continue overnight into Wed., Jan. 29. Light snow is expected overnight, and depending on snow accumulations, crews may need to plow and treat streets. Streets may be slick during the Wednesday morning commute and residents should use caution while traveling particularly on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses.
Temperatures are expected to be at or above freezing Wednesday afternoon, helping to melt any snow from streets. Warmer temperatures are forecast for the rest of the week.
The City will continue to monitor the weather forecast and update its response accordingly.
