City’s Crews Continue to Plow & Treat Residential Streets; Preparing for Potential Freezing Fog Tuesday Morning
City crews plowed and treated residential streets throughout the day on Mon., Dec. 16, and will continue overnight into Tues., Dec. 17. Approximately half of residential streets have been completed as of Monday evening, and crews still anticipate having all streets plowed and treated by 11 a.m. on Tues., Dec. 17. Crews will then work to clean up slush from primary streets throughout the day on Tuesday.
The updated weather forecast is calling for freezing fog during the Tuesday morning commute, and crews working in residential streets at that time may need to be rerouted to treat slick conditions. The City will continue to monitor the forecast and update its response accordingly.
